This is an excellent online service that surprisingly offers very reasonable response times if you have a question. And you always seem to get someone who is polite and knowledgeable if there a question or issue. This is the third time I have used their service twice to sell and once to rent.

Houzeo Complaints
❌ John Heritage loved that Houzeo got them on the MLS as fast as possible. However, they lost two deals due to the listing agent’s slow response.
They’re very fast and quick to respond *initially* but once your listing is in the system and you start having showings/receiving offers, they’re extremely slow to respond. I paid extra for the ‘contract review’ service, and lost two bids because I wanted Houzeo to review the contract and give me advice, but since they took so long the buyers got cold feet and that was the end of that.

Houzeo Competitors
When you choose a FSBO platform, it’s important to consider and compare all the available options. Here’s how Houzeo compares to its top competitors:
1. Zillow
Unlike Houzeo, Zillow For Sale By Owner provides free listings on their website within 72 hours. However, it is not an MLS listing. Since agent listings are displayed on the website by default, FSBO listings get very little visibility.
2. Beycome
Compared to Houzeo, Beycome offers a Basic Flat Fee MLS plan for $99. However, it comes with a $25 cancellation fee. Also, Beycome operates in only 12 states.
3. FSBO.com
FSBO.com has packages from $99.95, but it lists only on Redfin.com. For an MLS listing, you need to pay $399.95. On the other hand, Houzeo’s Bronze package offers more advanced services at a similar price point.
Houzeo Reviews: Is Houzeo Really Worth It?
Houzeo’s user-friendly platform and comprehensive services make a FSBO home sale easy for you. The packages are a little more expensive than their alternatives, and they have a restrictive refund policy.
